Written by olucapri on June 22, 2018
Virgil Abloh—who was hired in March as the new artistic director of menswear at Louis Vuitton—debuted his first collection for the fashion house in Paris.
The Ghanian-American and Off-White founder is the first Black artistic director at Vuitton, so this marked a historic collection, an ode to diversity and streetwear.
This season the casting included the below talents:
ASAP NAST, BAKAR SHARIFF, BLONDEY MCCOY, DEV HYNES, KID CUDI, LASH, LUCIEN CLARKE, LUCIEN SMITH, OCTAVIAN ESSIE, PLAYBOI CARTI, STEVE LACY and THEOPHILUS LONDON.
