Gucci recently announced that it will be extending the amazing personalisation service to its iconic Ophidia tote bag and the Ace sneaker. The customisable accessories have been made available to shop from May 10 online at Gucci.com and in store at New York’s Gucci Wooster space. The Italian fashion house promoted its latest personalisation service, titled Do It Yourself, with a campaign shot by Petra Collins. You can also preview your product with the help of the label’s virtual image tool, so you know exactly what your new customised purchase will look like before you check out.
Also in the news, online luxury retailer Farfetch launched a fine jewellery and watches hub on May 8 in an effort to provide shoppers with a range of sought-after pieces from some of the most iconic brands—think De Beers, Chopard, David Yurman, Pomellato, Tiffany & Co., Bell & Ross, Girard-Perregaux, TAG Heuer, Ulysse Nardin and Zenith. Retailers will now be able to provide customers from across the globe with a wide range of products that have only ever previously been available for purchase directly from the brand. “We are thrilled to be launching hard luxury on Farfetch with such an incredible line-up of brands,” says chief commercial and sustainability officer, Giorgio Belloli. “This move is a natural extension to the unrivalled range we already offer lovers of fashion around the world.”
