Arise Fashion Week – David Tiale

The day 2 of ARISE Fashion Week 2019 was a colourful event hosting several A-list stars and hundreds of fashion lovers present at the Lagos Continental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos for the revered fashion week.
Opening as expected with a pop-up exhibition and Arise Talkswhich featured Niyi Okuboye, Eniola Dawodu, Liya Kebede, Adeola Bali and the legendary fashion journalist, Andre Leon Talley presenting his documentary on the screen, the runway displayed sophisticated models strutting in jaw-dropping designs.
David Tlale is a South African fashion designer who’s eponymous label designs both women’s and menswear, as well as couture and bridal wear. Tlale is dynamic in his interpretation of local and international trends. His inventive use of fabric, color and texture is a remarkable attribute of his designs.
For Day 2, the couturier presented a daring yet feminine collection, which featured lots of sequin, sheer fabrics, floral prints and feathery embellishments.
Featuring amazing shows, from Andrea Iyamah and David Tlale to Kenneth Ize, and Gozel Green.
